Leslie Frazier Past Teams Coached and Record
Leslie Frazier has had an impressive NFL coaching career starting in 1999; he first became defensive backs coach for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2002. Frazier served as the defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2003 to 2004 and held various roles with the Indianapolis Colts from 2005 to 2006, including assistant head coach and defensive backs coach.
In 2007, he became the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings, where he later served as both assistant head coach and defensive coordinator from 2008 to 2010. Frazier stepped in as the interim head coach for the Vikings in 2010 and continued as the head coach from 2011 to 2013. Afterwards, he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as defensive coordinator (2014–2015) and then served as the secondary coach for the Baltimore Ravens in 2016.
Frazier took on the role of defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills from 2017 to 2019 and continued in the same capacity from 2020 to 2022 while also serving as assistant head coach. In 2024, he joined the Seattle Seahawks as the assistant head coach.
Before beginning his journey to NFL coaching, Frazier was head coach at Trinity International University from 1988 to 1996. He then worked as a defensive backs coach for the University of Illinois from 1997 to 1998.
