During Sunday’s LaLiga match between Real Betis and Athletic Bilbao, assistant referee Guadalupe Porras was left with a bloodied face following a collision with a pitchside camera.
Porras had been returning to her touchline position after confirming a goal when the incident occurred. Despite the severity of her injury, the television coverage initially failed to capture the unfolding events.
Betis medical staff swiftly responded to the situation, rushing to Porras’s aid. They assisted her onto a stretcher before moving her into an ambulance for further medical attention.
