According to sources, the Raiders will make LBs coach Antonio Durran Pierce their interim head coach after firing Josh McDaniels after the loss to the Lions on Monday Night Football.
The Raiders fired both Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler on Tuesday night. They made this decision just after an embarrassing loss to the Detroit Lions during NFL Week 8 Monday game.

Antonio Pierce New Interim Head Coach for Raiders
Antonio was a Super Bowl and Pro Bowl champion who played for the Washington Redskins (2001 – 2004) and New York Giants (2005 – 2009) as a player. He started his career as a coach for Long Beach Poly HS (CA), where he was head coach from 2014 to 2017. Later in his career, he joined Arizona State as a coach.
In 2022, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders Linebackers coach, and after Josh McDaniels got fired, he became the interim head coach for the Raiders last night.
