Censorship Concerns Arise as Ravens Fans Silenced During AFC Finals Broadcast

It’s been 4 days since the AFC Championship game was held, but still, it is in the news for different things like Taylor Swift’s screen time on TV or censored Ravens fans chanting. During the AFC Finals between the Ravens and the Chiefs, enthusiastic Ravens fans were silenced on the national broadcast.

The spirited crowd, known for their passionate support, was caught chanting “Full Ship,” only to have their cheers conspicuously censored.

Here is the video of Ravens fans chanting “Full Ship“, shared through X account NFL Notification.

This incident comes on the heels of another recent case involving censorship, this time targeting C.J. Stroud. When National Broadcasting Company(NBC) cut Jesus Mention from the postgame interview of C.J. Stroud.

The question arising from these incidents is whether the NFL is facing a growing censorship problem.

As fans express their support in various ways, the league’s handling of these situations raises concerns about the freedom of expression within the context of football events.
