Chiefs’ DE BJ Thompson Hospitalized After Seizure and Cardiac Arrest

Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive end BJ Thompson is currently hospitalized and in stable condition after experiencing a seizure and going into cardiac arrest earlier today. This concerning incident was confirmed by his agent, Chris Turnage.

According to Turnage, Thompson is currently unconscious but stable, with his vital signs showing positive signs. The family has requested prayers and support from everyone during this challenging time.

BJ is still unconscious at this point, but he’s stable and vitals are good. His family asks for your continued prayers.” Chris Turnage said. According to post shared by Tom Pelissero.

The Chiefs took swift action in response to this medical emergency, canceling all team activities for the day. The incident occurred during a meeting when a backup defensive lineman suffered a seizure, leading to cardiac arrest.

Medical personnel on-site acted promptly, immediately calling for an ambulance and providing necessary medical attention. As a result, the player is now reported to be in stable condition.

The entire Chiefs organization and the NFL community are sending thoughts and well-wishes to BJ Thompson for a speedy and full recovery.
