I’m filled with love for this city, yet overwhelmed with anger and sorrow for the victims, their families, and the entire KC community. In a world marred by brokenness, I find solace in the belief that this is not our final destination.
The promise of Heaven brings comfort, offering a glimpse of an eternity free from pain, fear, and grief. Gratitude floods my heart for the swift response of the first responders, whose actions undoubtedly saved lives.
I extend my thanks to the KCPD, Chiefs security, courageous individuals, and the staff at Union Station for their efforts in the face of chaos. To the people of Kansas City, hold your loved ones close tonight.
