Patrick Mahomes spoke about Taylor Swift
Later in the interview Mahomes spoke about his interactions with global pop icon Taylor Swift, highlighting her down-to-earth nature despite immense fame.
“From a nationwide team that kind of was kind of global to a full global worldwide team that came from Taylor’s fan base, which was awesome and it was cool,” Mahomes noted, acknowledging Swift’s impact on a global scale.
He further praised Swift’s grounded personality, remarking, “Honestly, I think what I noticed that stands out is how down dirt she is to have that much fame at such a young age. I mean, I’ve watched her her entire career and she’s just, she’s normal. Whoever you see in the interview is exactly who she is.“
Mahomes also shared a personal moment with Swift, recalling their meeting after a Chiefs game in Chicago. “And I first met her again with the Chiefs and after the game that she came in Chicago, she mentioned the time that we had met in Crossing from like four or five years before and I was like the fact that she even remembers that. It’s crazy,” he added.
