Ben Johnson career as coach so far

Ben Johnson has an extensive and progressive coaching career in football, marked by his Ben Johnson has had a remarkable journey in football coaching, starting at Boston College as a graduate assistant in 2009–2010. He then moved on to become the tight ends coach at Boston College in 2011.

After that, Johnson joined the Miami Dolphins, where he took on different roles like offensive assistant, assistant quarterbacks coach, and tight ends coach from 2012 to 2017. During his time with the Dolphins, he worked with various positions, including wide receivers coach in 2018.

In 2019, Ben Johnson joined the Detroit Lions as the offensive quality control coach and later became the tight ends coach in 2020–2021. In 2021, he stepped into the role of passing game coordinator and currently serves as the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions since 2022.
