A player as talented as Surtain could seamlessly strengthen a Super Bowl hopeful such as the Dallas Cowboys. It’s natural to ponder: What if Jerry Jones and his team make an offer to the Broncos that’s just too irresistible to reject?
Dallas could make a savvy move by suggesting a trade to Denver. They might consider a deal that includes a 2024 second-round pick, which could turn into a first-rounder if Dallas reaches the Super Bowl. Tossing in 2025 third and fifth-round picks could make the deal even more appealing.
Bringing in Surtain would give Dallas a new lockdown cornerback, which is particularly important with Trevon Diggs out for the year.
