Former Detroit Lions safety C.J. Moore, who served a one-season suspension for violating the NFL’s gambling policy, has been informed of his reinstatement. This decision makes Moore eligible to sign with an NFL team once again, according to a reliable source.

On April 21, 2023, Moore was suspended indefinitely (at least one season) due to his violation of the NFL’s gambling policy, which involved betting on NFL games. Following this discovery, the Lions released him from the team.

C.J. Moore is former Bassfield High School standout and Ole Miss college football player, C.J. Moore, who plays as a safety, entered the NFL as an undrafted player in 2019.

Total five players, including former Lions Quintez Cephus, C.J. Moore, and Demetrius Taylor, former Colts linebacker Rashod Berry, and current Commanders edge Shaka Toney, have been reinstated by the NFL after being suspended indefinitely for violating the league’s gambling policy in 2023.
