Former Albany defensive lineman Amitral “AJ” Simon is dead at the age of 25.
According to resources online, the NFL draft 2024 prospect AJ Simon died due to a heart attack. It is pretty shocking that an athlete died due to a heart attack at only the age of 25. Probably the reason for death is still unknown, but some of the sources claim he died of a heart attack.

After this awful news, UAlbany Football head coach Greg Gattuso show his condolence to him,

In his college football career, AJ Simon achieved remarkable stats, including 55 total tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, 19 QB hits, and 2 forced fumbles. His outstanding performance earned him several awards, such as All-CAA First Team Defense, FCS Football Central First-Team All-American Stats, FCS All-America Third Team, and PHIL Steele All-CAA First Team.
AJ Simon was the 2024 NFL draft prospect who passed away just one week before NFL Draft 2024.
