NBC Editing CJ Stroud Interview Video: Cutting Jesus Mention Cut, Fans Reactions

NBC edited the CJ Stroud interview after the Houston Texans won the Wild Card round matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

NBC edited the original interview in which Stroud thanked Jesus for the win; NBC published interviews after cutting the specific part in which Stroud mentioned Jesus. This controversy arose when a video of a comparison between the original interview and NBC’s edited interview went viral on social media, and fans reacted and criticized NBC.

NBC removed Stroud saying “First and foremost, I just want to give all glory and praise to my Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Last year in an interview to Fox News Digital, Stroud said “It’s what’s kept me grounded even through my season. Football has a lot of ups and downs, it has a lot of twists and turns, but at the end of the day, it’s all about your foundation. And something that’s set my foundation is my faith.

“It’s something I’m not perfect in, but I try to work every day to be better, and I definitely think that’s what saved me. If it helps encouraging anybody to help them in their lives, whatever they’re going through, then I’m all for it.”

CJ Stroud religion is Christianity, and he is a proud follower of Jesus Christ. He has “Follower of Christ…STM…IE” in his Instagram bio, which shows that he is a follower of Christ.
