Kansas City Chiefs tight end and two time Super Bowls winner Travis Kelce ex girlfriend Kayla Nicole finally talked about why she unfollowed Btintany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes.
Star player Travis Kelce and well-known fitness guru Kayla Nicole dated for 5 years before they broke up in 2022. After a long time relationship ended, she never said anything about Travis on any social or elsewhere.
A buzz created after Travis started dating Taylor Swift recently, she became a part of news as Kelce’s ex girlfriend.
Fans saw that she had unfollowed Brittany and her husband, Patrick Mahomes on social media. Mahomes was close friends with Kayla for a long time.
In the recent interview with People Nicole open up about this.
“I do think it’s important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people,” Nicole said. “The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made.”
Nicole further said, “To everyone it’s like, ‘Oh, you broke up a year ago,’ and that meant it’s like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don’t ever speak to anyone ever again. That’s not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved.”
She has been following and supporting the Chiefs for a long time. She cheered so many games in the stadium with her close friend Britteny.
On her support to Chiefs she said “I still love my KC people and my KC community so much,” she says.
“But for me in my life, I have to move forward and everyone has to respect that. And hopefully when they respect that, that means that they’re no longer inserting me into things that do not involve me.”
Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has dominated headlines since she went to Arrowhead Stadium to support the Chiefs and her boyfriend.
