“We had a long conversation yesterday about like, how did the Patriots go about their decision making tree essentially, and what these meetings are going to be like with Bill Belichick. And at the time, Mike Vrabel was not available. So we didn’t really go down that path. But Vrabel, in the most obvious sense, does seem like the best fit because it’s not Belichick. They also had a great win against the Dolphins a couple weeks before that.
