Tennessee Titans Fire Coach: Could Mike Vrabel be a good next step for the Patriots?

Yesterday the Tennessee Titans fire coach Mike Vrabel. Vrabel has been coach for 6 seasons for Titans. He was named the AP Coach of the year in NFL season 2021–22. Under Vrabel, Titans earned 2 AFC  South titles and a 2019 AFC Championship appearance.

After Mike Vrable got fired all NFL fans, media experts and sports analysts talked about what should be the next team for him.

On January 10, 2024, ” Good Morning Football” show a discussion going about the next team of Mike Vrabel. Jamie Erdahl host of the show said,

“We had a long conversation yesterday about like, how did the Patriots go about their decision making tree essentially, and what these meetings are going to be like with Bill Belichick. And at the time, Mike Vrabel was not available. So we didn’t really go down that path. But Vrabel, in the most obvious sense, does seem like the best fit because it’s not Belichick. It’s not Belichick, son. It’s not Jerod Mayo who’s been in house the last couple of years. It is a new face, a new body, but a similar voice and the tenor to what the Patriots are used to doing. And somebody who is of youthful energy but also has that same kind of culture that you think Belichick has built, that obviously, the Kraft family is accustomed to now the Titans to your point and everybody’s point. The table. They have not just fallen on their face this season. They played a huge role in making this super wildcard matchup possible. Tennessee beat the Jags in Week 18. They also had a great win against the Dolphins a couple weeks before that. That led to the Steelers grabbing that seven seed sandwich shop in the Pittsburgh has been sending sandwiches to Tennessee to the Titans facility to thank them. Very generous.”
