Vikings Sign LG Dalton Risner to $2.41M Deal

The Minnesota Vikings have bolstered their offensive line by signing left guard Dalton Risner. 

According to Ben Goessling, Risner’s contract includes a $1.41 million base salary, with $600,000 guaranteed. The deal also features a $500,000 signing bonus and a $500,000 roster bonus, bringing the total value to $2.41 million.

Dalton Risner was signed by the Minnesota Vikings for the first time on September 19, 2023. He was named the starting left guard for the remainder of the season in Week 7.

However, on March 13, 2024, Risner became an unrestricted free agent. Ultimately, on May 31, 2024, he re-signed with the Minnesota Vikings, continuing his tenure with the team.

Dalton Risner was selected in the second round, 41st overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He played four seasons from 2019 to 2022, missing only four games due to injury.

On January 3, 2023, Risner was placed on injured reserve with a partial UCL tear in his right elbow.

Regarding Dalton Risner’s NFL career so far, he has played in 77 games and started 73. He has missed 4 games due to injury.
